16 Ways to Prepare Your Web Site for The Holiday Season!

Michael Della Penna - Friday, May 29, 2009
The 2009 holiday shopping seasons is shaping up to be one of the most unpredictable in recent history. In fact, some leading analyst and market research firms are predicting that online sales will remain flat or even fall in 2009 before returning to double-digit increases in 2011 and beyond.

One of the more pessimistic estimates is from eMarketer who projects a decrease of .4% in online purchases this year – going from $133.6 billion to $133.1 billion. Not great news for marketers who are faced with declining budgets and even greater pressure to deliver strong sales this year. So how can you get the most out of your effort this year? Well one thing is for sure, you need to start early, be creative, and embrace participation. With that in mind, we invite you to check out our top 16 ways to prepare your web site for the holiday season this year!
